Josh Dunham – Professional Bass Player and Producer

Josh Dunham is a world-renowned bass player with a career spanning two decades alongside some of the most iconic names in music. Best known for his work with Prince and the New Power Generation from 2005 to 2010, Josh contributed to five studio albums and toured globally, showcasing his dynamic stage presence and deep musicality. He has also performed with acclaimed artists such as D’Angelo, Raphael Saadiq, Frank McComb, Patti LaBelle, Lalah Hathaway, and the Jonas Brothers, appearing at prestigious venues including the Hollywood Bowl and the Montreux Jazz Festival.
In 2023, Josh partnered with Anka Custom Guitars to design a fully personalized instrument that could meet his demanding performance needs. The result is the Joshua Dunham Signature Bass, a unique creation featuring custom specs like a modified scale length, optimized pickup placement, and ultra-low action for expressive playability. Josh has since taken this bass on tour, relying on its precision, tone, and craftsmanship to deliver his signature sound on stage and in the studio.
Carlos Pineda – Musician & Professional Bassist

Carlos Pineda is a Venezuelan musician with extensive experience in various musical genres. He began his training in El Sistema de Orquestas de Venezuela, studying violin and piano. Later, he expanded his expertise into Venezuelan folk music, collaborating with renowned artists such as María Teresa Chacín, Rafael “Pollo” Brito, and Luis Enrique Divine.
Currently, he resides in Houston, Texas, where he serves as the bassist for the prestigious Unity Church of Houston. He is also a member of the country rock band Will Carter Band and shares his passion for music as an instructor at Teora Music School.
In addition to his live performances and teaching, Carlos is currently recording his debut solo project as a bassist: an adaptation of Johann Sebastian Bach’s Cello Suites for electric bass, originally composed for the cello.
Ray Diaz – Musician & Professional Bassist

Ray Díaz is a veteran bass player and a driving force in the Venezuelan rock scene, best known for his long-standing role with the iconic band Candy66. Since joining the group, Ray has performed in nearly 200 shows throughout Venezuela and internationally, supporting major tours such as the Evolutio Tour (2010–2012), Nueva Guerra Tour (2013–2014), No Más Violencia Tour (2014), and Sin Nombre Tour (2015). His bass work is featured on key recordings including the Nueva Guerra album, No Más Violencia, Sombras en el Sol, and Estelar.
The single Antisocial, from the Nueva Guerra album, hit #1 in Venezuela’s Record Report Rock/Pop chart in May 2013. Ray has been a core contributor to the band’s success, participating in DVD recordings, music videos, and soundtracks. Candy66 has earned over six Unión Rock Show Awards and received three Pepsi Music Award nominations, reinforcing their legacy as one of the country’s most influential rock bands.
Outside of Candy66, Ray has collaborated with groups such as Verona and High Risk Strategy, performing at major festivals including SXSW (Austin, TX), Altavoz Festival (Colombia), Orange Rock Festival (Curaçao), and several editions of Festival Nuevas Bandas. He continues to tour internationally, most recently as part of Candy66’s 2024–2025 Reunion Tour through Chile, Argentina, and Spain.
