Q: Can I order a custom-made guitar with a color or option that doesn’t appear on the website or in the catalog?
A: Absolutely, we would be thrilled to bring your dream Anka Custom guitar to life. If you have specific requests for options or colors that are not shown on the website, our custom shop is at your service. We can create a guitar that is tailored to your precise specifications. Please send us an email with your specific requests.
Q: If I want a custom guitar made based on a design I bring as a customer, is that something you can do?
A: No. Almost every aspect of our instruments can be changed except for the base design and silhouette.
Q: What do I need to become an endorser of AnkaCustom?
A: We are always interested in partnering with great musicians, so please contact us via email to receive and fill out an endorsement request form.
Q: Can I provide my own wood for a guitar that I’m planning to order?
A: Unfortunately, we cannot use woods provided by customers. Although you may have a good set of wood, we take great care in sourcing the finest quality materials for our instruments and prefer to construct them using our own wood. This approach allows us to guarantee that the wood is expertly cut, well-seasoned, and structurally secure.
When placing an order for a guitar, we require 30% of the total cost to be paid upfront. The remaining 70% will be charged two weeks prior to delivery of the order. We accept several payment methods including credit/debit cards, bank transfers, Zelle and PayPal. (Some fees will be applied for Paypal payments) Please note that your guitar will not be shipped until the full payment has been received. If you have any questions or concerns regarding payment, please don’t hesitate to contact us.
6 Months is our standard lead time, but this can vary based on the complexity of the job and weather circumstances that can jeopardize the quality of the finish.
Anka Custom Guitars offers a 5-year limited warranty for all their Guitars & Basses. However, please note that the warranty does not cover any damages or defects resulting from: a) product modifications, b) moisture exposure, c) salt, smoke, or other contaminants, d) natural disasters, e) accidents, f) abuse, or g) lack of reasonable care. This warranty is the only warranty provided by Anka Custom Guitars and it supersedes all other warranties, either express or implied. Anka Custom Guitars does not authorize any representative or person to assume liability or responsibility in connection with the sale or servicing of their products. Additionally, Anka Custom Guitars shall not be held responsible for any incidental or consequential damages resulting from the use of their products.
Anka Custom Guitars ships worldwide! Please note that international customers (including Canada) are responsible for any import taxes or duty – the shipping charges you pay just cover the shipping itself. The shipper will contact you before delivery to tell you the import tax and duty amount due.
Anka Custom Guitars uses FedEx Ground (except where noted) for all deliveries. Anka Custom Guitars will decide how to best ship your order upon packaging. Packages shipped via Ground can be tracked online using your order confirmation number. The rule of thumb is that small orders will be delivered via USPS Priority, and larger items will be delivered via Fedex carrier.
Shipping rates can vary depending on your location, product size, and service method for delivery. These shipping rates can change, and we will notify you the same or next business day if the shipping rate will be different from what it shows online. Anka Custom Guitars does the best job to give competitive shipping rates and occasionally, we get hit with surcharges or extra fees.
All guitars and basses are shipped with signature required upon delivery.
Expedited shipping is also available. Expedited shipping for these delivery options is based on business days. Therefore, for example, an item ordered on Wednesday with 3-day delivery would not arrive until the following Monday.
If you need overnight shipping or overnight shipping with Saturday delivery, please contact us to make the necessary arrangements.
At this time, Anka Custom Guitars does not ship to APO/FPO addresses. This is due to high damage rates and loss experienced in the past. Additionally, it is bad for electronic gear and guitars to sit in non-climate controlled warehouses/depots often used in the APO/FPO pipeline. If you use an APO/FPO address, it’s recommended that you ship your order to a friend/relative in the US and have them make arrangements to ship to you via a major carrier.
